| Introduction | I am retired after 30 years of pastoral ministry and almost 20 years in higher education as a professor, administrator, and college dean. I am a graduate of West Virginia State College (BA), The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (MA), and Bethel Theological Seminary (D.Min. in Theological Reflection.) I have also studied at the University of Louisville, the University of Iowa, the University of Notre Dame, and the Earlham School of Religion. I was a Quaker pastor, and also had credentials with the American Baptist Churches until I became Catholic in 2011. I am married to my wonderful wife Gay (since 1985) and am the dad of two awesome young professional adult children. I was born with cerebral palsy and in 2021 I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. I have written two autobiographical memoirs, "Finding My Voice Through a Wilderness Journey" and "The Wilderness I Left Behind." Both books are available on Amazon. |
