Introduction	I'm an 87-year-old retiree from Federal civil and military service. I've been a member of First Baptist since 1938 and of Kiwanis since 1955. I was in active US Army service from June 15, 1943, until April 29, 1946, and the Army National Guard as both member and employee from November 20, 1947, until June 1, 1984. I served in many grades from PVT to CW4. I was in combat for 60 days in Europe in 1945. I graduated Presbyterian College in 1947.
