| Introduction | I love the theatre. It is a culturally important medium and expression of what is happening in society. This blog reflects my experience of visiting the theatre and how the performances resonate for me. Gothenburg has an active, diversified theatre scene. Digital theatre has also exploded onto the global scene. How does it change the experience of theatre? Virtual theatre viewing through digital theatre outlets online and at cinemas has increased the opportunity to see performances, but the film medium also affects what the audience sees and how they see it. This fascinates me. I will also talk about plays that should be performed, should be seen and should be talked about more. |
