| Introduction | Jennifer Beresford is a ceramic sculptor from Norwood, Ohio. She received her BFA in Ceramics from Northern Kentucky University in the spring of 2010. Shortly after graduation she and several other local artists formed a co-op gallery in Over the Rhine, contributing to the ongoing revitalization of the area. She has given back to the community in several other ways including volunteering at a studio in her hometown providing an outreach program for local children involving the arts. Her work was shown in the Annual Juried Student Exhibition at Northern Kentucky University every year she attended culminating in a very well received senior thesis exhibition. She has shown at Red Tree Gallery and The Greenwich, both located in Cincinnati. She was also represented at The Maple Creek Artisan Center in Moscow, Oh. Her most recent exhibitions include the main gallery at The Carnegie in Covington, Ky and The Art Comes Alive show in downtown Cincinnati where she won the Fine Craft Artist of the Year Award. |
