| Introduction | I am an American Shaman. I am a story teller, visionary, guide, and sacred artist. I am an agent of transformation. And a healer. I have survived a long, brutal, and sometimes violent initiation. My body still hosts a deadly virus. I was born queer. My inner guides tell me it’s time to begin, to transform, to reach ecstasy, and to uplift others. I can see my guides. I can talk to them. I can hear there guidance. And I believe in there wisdom. They have never been wrong. But, I have not always listened. I am listening now. We have become the elders of our tribe. We have survived the leap into the chasm. It’s time to tell our stories. To share the stories of those you have gone before us. Their wisdom, and ours, must not be lost. We must care for our children so our tribe will increase, become stronger, and more loving. Use your voice. Use your mind. Your energy. And your pen. Someone will hear you. Or, they will hear me. Mankind is evolving. We are cosmic volunteers.
