Introduction | I am a 40 year old father of two who is an academic psychologist (health and exercise psychology) with a passionate interest and growing expertise in sport psychology. I just happen to also have become obsessed with rowing, both on and off the water. I am no uber athlete rather an enthusiastic amateur who thinks i can fuse my own reflections on rowing with my academic knowledge of sport psychology! This blog is about rowing to the extent that it illustrates a number of really interesting things about the psychology of sport, and exercise as well, If its tips on how to row or improve your catch position, this ain't the place! I am currently a senior Lecturer at the University of the West of England (UWE). I have an MSc in health Psychology and an MSc in sport and exercise psychology as well a PhD. I am currently undertaking the BPS stage 2 training in sport psychology. I currently co-programme lead the MSc Sport and exercise psychology at UWE. |

You're trapped in a well with a goat and a slinky. Describe how you will escape.
Eat the goat. Then escape using goat bones and bright yellow bendy plastic as homemade crampons and rope.
