About me

Introduction	I am that person that is filthy, smelly, and covered in horse hair and hay. I revel in it, and realize that not everybody gets it. If you're reading this, you probably get it. I got my first horse at the age of 39, an arthritic Tennessee Walker that couldn’t be ridden. Next came the mini. Then we added an aged rescue. We call ourselves the home for the misfits, but we love each and every one of our herd for their unique personalities. My daughter and I absolutely love horses and we have rearranged our lives and our home to include them. To further my passion, I became a CESMT/CERT, a Certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist and a Certified Equine Rehabilitation Therapist. I did it as a career move, and became a firm believer when I saw the changes in my own horses.
