| Introduction | BEFORE MY KEIKIS (Kids)...I had a career and was rising up the corporate ladder. I went out for drinks, I traveled, and I never thought about money because we had two incomes. Then...one night my husband wanted to start a family. I could have waited but I knew I wasn't getting any younger. So...I decided to just let things happen. And it happened, a month later, I surprised my husband with the news. His reaction, "Oh ...." My reaction, "here comes a life and there goes mine." AFTER MY KEIKIS...My life is surely not the same but it is more rewarding and fulfilling. I now drive a minivan, eat bon bons all day =) and live the "cinco ranch" wife life. But on occasion, I still get a little jealous of people who have no kids and have their "own" life. Then I realized I can’t have my cake and eat it too. I truly can’t imagine life without my two little keikis. They are the inspiration for my blog…Keikicakes. |
