| Introduction | Hey there, my name is Tenille and I am studying Bachelor of Primary Education at the Geelong Waurn Ponds campus. Initially I felt lost on campus but I started following the signs and asked for help whenever I needed it and everything worked out alright. It was useful for me to attend Orientation and enrolment sessions where I made a few friends. I also got involved in the Deakin University basketball team. The best part about Deakin is that there are so many different units and electives available to you that you can choose from. My best piece of advice for new students is be fearless; don’t be afraid to go out and make friends. In my free time, I enjoy photography. I was also a member of the Victorian cricket squad. |
