| Introduction | I have been teaching first grade at Haverhill since 2002. Prior to moving back to Portage, I taught second grade in Cincinnati, Ohio for three years. I grew up in the Portage Public Schools. Starting in fourth grade I attended Angling Road Elementary then went on to Portage North Middle School. I graduated from Portage Northern High School in 1995. After high school I went to the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio and received a BS in Elementary Education. I am currently taking classes for my Masters in the Art of Reading...I am so happy to say I am half way there! I look forward to this 08-09 school year since I will be using so many of the new teaching techniques I learned over the summer. |
