Introduction Chris completed his first triathlon back in 2001 by doing backstroke, using a borrowed mountain bike, and running in basketball shoes. A lifelong athlete, he was instantly hooked on endurance sports and started taking it more seriously in 2004. That same year, he was named co-captain of the UNB Varsity Cross-Country team and started succeeding at local races. In 2005, Chris raced his first Half-Ironman and won numerous running road races. In 2006, Chris won the National Duathlon Championship and got a bronze medal at the Worlds. The next year, Chris repeated the feat, only this time in the Long Distance Duathlon Championships. Also in 2007, Chris raced three more half-Ironmans, including the World Ironman 70.3 Champs. In 2008, Chris and Cliff formed LiveMultiSport during a four-month adventure across the US, training and racing in multi-sport events.
