| Introduction | I have been a wilderness experiential education facilitator for over 22 years. I have worked with Corporate executives, parents, at-risk youth, and wilderness adventurers from all walks of life. I am extremely interested in the cognitive behavior of humanity. My college education background is based on psychology, sociology, education, recreation, and criminal justice. My back country experience consists of backpacking, rock climbing, ice climbing, mountain biking, and Nordic skiing. I have journeyed across 13 countries seeking out the personal growth that comes when one's character is tempered in the forge of extreme challenge. I am currently embarked on a journey of discovery. I am searching for the way points in one's life that predicts one's efficacy. The process of how the perceived negative events in our lives try to dictate our outcomes and how we can over-ride such events, turning them into true defined character that can have a profound and positive effect on those whose lives we cross. |
