About me

Introduction	Following on from a PhD in astrophysics and eight years of postdoctoral positions in the U.S., Canada and the U.K. I am now an employee of the Met Office, where I am a data assimilation scientist. I have spent most of the last two decades looking at or thinking about the sky, or rather, all things 'up'. I'm now writing this blog to share some of my experiences, new and old, relating to how we look at the sky and what it can tell us.
