| Introduction | I left the airline industry when my job transferred to Texas. I loved seeing the world. When my daughter was young, she was diagnosed with severe allergic asthma. I started to volunteer with the American Lung Association and became the Director of Development after raising more money as a volunteer than the development staff at the time did. I held a myriad of positions and left as the VP of Corporate Relations. I have spent the years since educating myself by taking classes, seminars, attending conferences and have held several positions raising the bar for organizations. I obtained my Certified Fund Raising Executive certificate in 2024. I am now focused on writing books, speaking, blogging, and sharing my story. I am available for consulting and contract positions for organizations that I believe in. I am currently writing a book on fundraising, am building my "on-line presence" and am available to speak to non-profit organizations, chamber and other community organizations, corporations who want to engage with non-profits and more. |
