| Introduction | I am currently putting my MPH cancer epidemiology training to good use, living in Houston, TX doing a research fellowship through the MD Anderson Cancer Prevention Program. I am conducting research through the Texas Children’s Cancer Center working on factors of adherence in long term survivors to late effects clinic. My two passions are pediatric oncology and indigent health care. To date I have conducted medical work in Morocco, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, India, Costa Rica, Guatemala and my beloved Stout Street Clinic through the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless in Denver, CO. Relationships make my life what it is. I am always looking to meet interesting people who I can learn from and enjoy life with. I continually work to be true to myself and not judge those whom I cross paths with. I am who I am. “Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the number of moments that take our breath away.” |
| Interests | Traveling the globe, international medical work, LiveStrong supporter/volunteer, retail therapy, yoga, meditation, enjoying the outdoors, hanging out with my friends, I will try everything and anything . . .once! |
