Occupation	What doesn't a mom do?!?!
Introduction	I wanna be like Jesus. I'm a sinner saved by grace. I'm in the process of sanctification by the work of the Holy Spirit in my life. I love God but sometimes I forget that I love God. I want to be used by God for His purposes and His glory in this lifetime. I long to share the love of Christ with others but I'm often selfish and foolishly afraid of offending someone. Like I said, I am a sinner. And I have a tremendous need to know my Savior more to throw off these sins of selfishness, self-reliance, pride, etc. (the list is too long to mention here). Anyhow, knowing Jesus and wanting to be like Him is what this blog is all about.
Interests	Hanging out with people in a relaxed atmosphere - talking, laughing, praying, having fun, and drinking a good cup of coffee. When I have time to myself, I enjoy reading, writing, exercising, playing my guitar and singing, and learning new worship songs (hymns included) to share with God's people.
Favorite movies	I can't even remember which movie we watched last week! I'm not much into comedy unless I'm with my friend Caryn, but I did laugh hysterically during Napolean Dynamite. I remember seeing The Power of One many years ago - brought me to tears as did Hotel Rwanda and Invisible Children - these movies raised awareness of what takes place in other parts of the world. If I went to Blockbuster, I would look for an action movie. I love action movies (probably b/c I'm ready to drop at the end of a long day and action movies keep me going).
Favorite music	Sara Groves, Shawn Colvin, Jackson Browne, U2, Pierce Pettis, Derek Webb, Sandra McCracken, Wailin' Jennys, Sam Phillips, Jennifer Knapp ...
Favorite books	Les Miserables, Tale of Two Cities, Blue Like Jazz, A Distant Grief, Count of Monte Cristo, L'Abri, D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones books. Only a good book can hold my fidgety attention, and it's gotta be good from the get-go.
