| Introduction | I am the type of person who will try almost anything. I would also describe myself as someone who is fairly good at most everything (can hold my own or better), but I am only truly exceptional at a few. I'm pretty athletic... at least for a 230 lb. guy, and I don't shy away from too many things. That being said, I could stand to lose a few pounds and I'm working on it. I try and eat somewhat healthy, but sometimes I slide off the deep end a bit too! Creatively, I am a natural born artist and I have the ability to draw and paint pretty well. I also love music of all kinds, and I make a half-hearted attempt to learn/play the guitar. I love to sing... in the car... in the shower... at random times of the day... oh, and I have been know to frequent karaoke hot spots every now and then too! Most of all, I am an optimist... there are very few days that go by that I can say "I had a bad day". I try and look for the positive in everything, and I am kind of a dreamer. People would say I am pretty fun to be around and a great person to have on your side when you need a good friend. |

| Favorite books | My favorite authors are John Saul and Steven King. I just read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert M. Pirsig. It was pretty philosophical though, so it took me a while to get through it. I often found myself reading some passages two or three times... |
