Introduction	A year and a half ago I arrived in Copenhagen, Denmark, as a young college student, not knowing much about the city or Danish culture. I couldn't have shown you where it was on a map or told you why I really chose to study there. Yet little did I know that it would be those four months in Copenhagen that would change my life forever. After studying at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad, I decided my career path was headed toward international education. The opportunity arose to work as an intern for a year at the school, so I took a leap of faith and chose to take it. I will be working at the amazing institution known as "DIS" as the Housing & Student Affairs Intern, and I could not be more excited for this new chapter in my life. It will truly be "en hyggelig eventyr"--a pleasant adventure.
