Introduction LaDonna Manternach, BVM, lyric soprano, graduated with a BA in music education from Clarke College. She went on to teach elementary school music at Catholic schools in Bellevue, Iowa, Oakland, CA and Berkeley, CA, San Francisco, CA; and Des Moines, IA. She joined the faculty/staff of Clarke in 1996 and completed doctoral degree in vocal performance at the Hartt School in West Hartford, CT. Associate professor Manternach instructs voice privately and teaches courses across the music curriculum with a special focus in elementary music education at Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa. LaDonna frequently performs as a soloist for the Sinsinawa Mound Messiah, the Dubuque Chorale and the Archdiocesan Chorale, and occasionally serves as a cantor for archdiocesan events, the BVM community, and local parish events.
