| Introduction | Born in Rural Oklahoma,December 31, 1942 outside the "town" of Keystone, (pop about 30). Raised on a farm / ranch where we raised beef and dairy cattle, planted a huge garden, plus bulk crops such as corn, wheat, rye, vetch, alfalfa, and such. I was the middle child of five, one sister, and three brothers. It seemed that we worked all the time, but thinking back on it, we had a lot of time for foolishness and getting into trouble of one sort or another. This is the motivation for starting this blog. I have a habit of recounting the stories about what I remember as a youth, and one of my daughters felt that I should blog, and helped me get started. I agreed to give it a shot, and we will all see if it is a worthy effort. Herb |
