| Introduction | My name is Mariela Gandy and I have had a love of sewing since I was thirteen years old. I graduted from the Escuela Guardias Presidenciales in Mexico City in 1967. Since then, I have worked as a fashion specialist, first at my father's tailor shop and later in my very own boutique. Fashion runs through my vains and I am forever dedicated to it and as a perfectionist, make sure all I do is first rate. I'm at your service for any type of clothing alteration, big or small. Also, I specialize in custom made dresses and my daughter, a graduate in Fashion Design from the Art Institue is known for her one-of-a-kind creations. In order to keep prices low and care for garments with attention to detail, Mariel'as is open four days a week.
