| Introduction | I'm a 63-year-old retired intelligence officer, avid rare bookman, scholar, and hobby theologian. I'm the devoted husband of Lydia, and proud father of Wolf-Ekkehard, Sieglinde Berit, and Anna-Sophia. Bringing up the rear is the newest Hindrichs, the four-year-old Axel Christian, who is named Christian after my maternal grandfather, and Axel after the Warrior Archbishop Axel von Lund, the founder of Copenhagen. The recommendation for this name had come from his older brother, Army Captain Wolf-Ekkehard Hindrichs, a West Point grad who served in Iraq and Afghanistan as a field artillery officer. Wolf is named after Ekkehard von Naumburg, one of the patrons of the Naumburg Cathedral. |
