| Introduction | Hello, I'm Banda. I was born in the Eastern Cape (Transkei), but have lived in Cape Town since the age of two. I have been working in the education sector for a few years now. Subjects taught include English HL and FAL (Gr 8 – 12), Social Sciences, Creative Arts, Natural Sciences and Technology. This widespread exposure and training has provided opportunities to integrate curriculum concepts in the classroom, and develop an appreciation for the range of subjects on offer for learners. My professional development has taken place in both formal and non-formal learning environments, and my interests include (but not limited to): curriculum & materials development, publishing, research, youth development projects and coordinating extra-curricular activities.
