| Introduction | I am a country girl who married at 21 whilst 6 months pregnant. After two years i ran away from my ex husband who was very abusive and with that i lost my house and most of my homewares and personal possesions. My daughter lost alot of her toys/books and even her own bed. To add to this I have had to take my ex husband to family court and pay my lawyer bills on my own, the result: poverty and no car. I was a housewife in an upper class suburb, now i am a single mum living in a housing commision in a small old fashioned country town (aka the bronx). Making homewares and clothes is very theraputic for me and i enjoy making and giving to others. I believe in the greater good and i hope this blog will help others as well as make a positive in our sometimes harsh world. |
