Introduction This is my ninth year at Bedford. For the last eight years, I've taught Honors English 11, English 11, College Prep English 12, English 12, and English 9. Before coming to Bedford, I taught English 8-10 and other writing and publications classes for seven years at Sand Creek High School. I graduated from University of Michigan in '97 with B.A.s in English and Psychology and completed an M.A. in Secondary English Education in '98. In '04, I completed an M.A. in English Literature from University of Toledo. My husband, Mike, is also a teacher and loves literature-he named our dogs after two great American authors-Zora Neale Hurston and Louis L'Amour. I have a seven-year-old daughter, Lucy, who loves writing stories about princesses saving lost pets, and a four-year-old daughter, Gracie, whose favorite books include all things Dr. Seuss and various books about llamas.
