| Introduction | I joined the Lyndon(Youth) Fellowship in 1972 as a spotty 12-year-old called ANNIE SLATER. It was more of a general youth club in those days. I recall having a break and then returning in 1978. Something had changed. The Fellowship was a group of young adults in a world of discovery: God, camping and comedy revues. We started calling ourselves “The God Squad”. In September 2004, many ex-Fellowship members attended a re-union at Lyndon church. I don’t know if it was my imagination but I felt a bit of the old “God Squad” magic. We’re not the Lyndon YOUTH Fellowship any more – we’re all in our forties and some not far off fifty! |
