| Favorite movies | Today I really like the "Book Thief". I need to read the book but the movie is great. My tastes are toward thoughtful films, mostly independent ones and I am weary of zombies and mindless works or profit making. |
| Favorite music | Chris Rice, Chris Tomlin, John Mayer, Dave Brubeck and anything by Miles Davis. Still stuck in the 70's guitar rock too. |
| Favorite books | On my desk are an NASB Bible, John Wesleys Sermons and a complilation (the brown and blue books), Merton's Contemplative Prayer, Augustine's Confessions, a volume of Bonhoffer's writings, various worship references, a collection of John of the Cross, several books on Crisis intervention-and whatever I am reading devotionally. I try to keep something less serious going. Right now it is Steig Larson's "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" trilogy. |
