Introduction Fubao is a Research Fellow in the Centre of Excellence for Climate System Science and the Research School of Biology at the ANU since 2011. From Sep. 2007 to 2011, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at ANU and in Oki-Kanae's global hydrology group at Univ. of Tokyo. He spent nine years (1998 to 2007) to obtain his B.E. and Ph.D in the Dept. of Hydraulic Engineering at Tsinghua Univ. He was a recipient of the (Top 20) Best PhD Dissertations and Outstanding Graduate in 2007, which is the first time for the department. He won twice the 3rd prize at National Mathematics Competition (1995, 1997), was awarded Outstanding Students of China by BanYueTan (an authoritative magazine in China, 1997), was a champion of 400m Race at Tsinghua Univ Sports Meeting (2001), the 1st leg of a champion team (4*100m Relay Race), and a Marathon runner in Beijing (2003) and Tokyo (2007). He recently received Editors' Choice Award (2012, Top 1%) of Water Resour Res (AGU). His WRR and GRL (2012) were featured and selected as AGU research spotlights and his GRL 2010 was among AGU most popular articles.
