| Introduction | I was born and raised in Brooklyn and then Staten Island, NY.My family moved to Florida when I was almost 19. I went into the Army Nat'l Guard and then Reg Army.I met my husband, Clyde there.I got out just B4 our 1st was born.We left the service in 1995 and settled in Jax, FL.We have 3 great kids - a daughter and 2 sons.We also have 2 awesome and fun grandsons.I was not born into a Jewish family (it's Italian and I feel like it might as well have been).I had been raised in a Christian tradition and had become a "born again" Christian in 1974.I was in the church 22+ yrs, studying, teaching & leading praise and worship.But I have had a Yiddishe N'shama(Jewish soul)all my life.And when my head finally caught up with my heart I became a Jew (born again again), officially, in Nov 2003.My Bat Mitzvah was 3 months later.Jesus/Yeshu started it.He is/was a Jew!! Whether I am up or down, I "Thank G*d" and put one foot in front of the other and live and learn and try to love and help others do the same. I am many times a miserable failure at this, but G*d helps me get back up,return to the truth and continue on. |
