| Introduction | Hey, I made this blog to keep my parents updated on my adventures, and able to see pictures of where I am!! A little update on me...I took this last year of school off to take some time for myself to travel. It all started last summer when I went to Peru for 2 weeks to do some Humanitarian work. I then went to Guatemala where I taught English in a school, and worked in an orphanage with abused/abandoned children for 6 weeks.....and now I am in Madrid, Spain!! I found a nanny job just outside of the city, and part of my pay is a Spanish class for 2 hours everyday at a Language school!! I had the idea in my head of what I wanted to do, found the family, and then left all within a month. It went really quick but it was all laid out perfectly for me and I got lucky with such a great family. I know I am supposed to be here and I have loved it so far! The Spanish is coming along slow, but I understand more and more each day. I have made really great friends here, and have gotten to see so many fun sites!! I absolutely love my life! |
