| Introduction | I’m a mom, daughter, sister, aunt,cousin and friend. I adore my family, and I love to laugh. I am starting this blog in January of 2011 because I want to do a better job of documenting my life. I was recently diagnosed as having parkinsons disease. I am determined to not let this beat me. I will live everyday to its fullest and I will do it with a smile. ok, maybe not a smile everyday, but I will not give in to this Shit Pot Disease. In the last few years I have met some amazing people. People that have made this 2 year roller coaster ride a bit easier. I am so very thankful to my family and friends who have been by my side. Many days I felt like jumping off that coaster from hell, but the love I have for my family tightened up my seat belt and said just hold on, one day this scary ass ride will end. That will be the day that a cure is found. Millions of people will exit that ride with a new life. |
