Introduction	It came as a complete surprise when I was diagnosed with anorexia nervosa. I'm not sure I believe it, even though I'll admit to an eating disorder. I've had problems surrounding eating and food all my life, and have a sibling and mother with EDs, too. I love my life. I love my husband, my companion animals, my friends, and California. My ED exists apart from my joy and pleasure in life, and I don't know why it's there. I read everything I can get my hands on about all eating disorders (EDs), hoping that I'll find a clue. I hope to show you what an average person with an ED--including obesity--goes through, and share with you the knowledge I've gained. I hope we can help each other, fat or thin.
