| Introduction | Reformation/covenant theology, or dispensational? You may be a dominionist, or be involved with it's newest child...the 'emerging church movement' (all to be defined as the journey progresses). Will the Church usher in the Kingdom of God on earth, or is it being used to facilitate a rebuilding of the 'Tower of Babel' by men who would defy God Almighty (Ps. 2:1-3)? Is the Revelation past...or yet to come? Does the bible teach the 'rapture' (the answer is an unequivocal yes)? It couldn't be more important where you come out on these issues, for they will determine how you view world events in this day and age.
There are many voices with every conceivable thought calling out today from metaphorical Babylon, the 'city of man'...but there is also "another voice from heaven" calling out with an entirely different message in regard to this lost 'earthly city': "...come out of her, my people" (Rev. 18:4). The heavenly voice is calling to "my people", that 'heavenly company' who belong to the "New Jerusalem" (Rev. 21:2). What on earth are you waiting for? Maranatha |
