Introduction | After spending 15+ years as an office manager, I left the corporate world almost 3 years ago to be a stay at home mom to foster children. The Lord has blessed us with 5 children, 3 of whom we adopted through foster care. We continue to foster children, typically caring for 8 children at any one time. My husband, Ed and I, love what the Lord has called us to do and hope to continue adopting children in need of forever families. I also run a newsletter for our foster care organization, manage their website, and oversee the support groups (all on a volunteer basis). My children are my world, and I believe foster parents are some of the most amazing people in it, so I spend a lot of time making sure our other foster parents know how much they are valued. I thought a blog might be a good way to share stories from my children, as well as a creative outlet for me. Hope you enjoy and ask your friends to follow, too! |
