| Introduction | I'm a freelance writer, triathlete and busy volunteer. I'm also a member of the informal group the Antiques of Steel, a group of Ottawa, Ont., women who enjoy getting together for different athletic pursuits. We will be periodically posting group and individual accounts of our adventures. Members of our group have kayaked from Kingston to Ottawa, cycled the Waterfront Trail from Niagara on the Lake to Cornwall, volunteered at Ironman Mont-Tremblant, and done innumerable marathons and other races and triathlons. As a group, we have invented and completed our own versions of summer and winter triathlons. We hope you are inspired to do the same. |
