| Introduction | RickyVegas is a Pascua Yaqui artist from Tucson, Arizona. His grandfather lived in Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico near the 8 Original Pueblos of the Rio Yaqui. Ricky Vegas graduated from Stanford University and the University of Arizona. As a Scholar and Artist, he seeks to communicate complex histories in his pieces that tie ancestral knowledge into modern pieces.
