About me

Introduction My first Keeshond, Tasha, was the most sure-footed dog I have ever known. She was infamous for being able to climb anything, including onto the roof of a small house. I often took her hiking in the Pacific Northwest where she navigated boulders, fallen trees over streams, and steep inclines with carefree abandon. Had I heard of agility back then, she would have excelled at it. When Tasha passed in 2002, I brought Kiwi home from Punxsutawney. She was an adorable little 6 week old ball of fur that turned into a demanding diva with insomnia overnight. I started taking agility classes in September 2002 when Kiwi was 5 months old in a desperate attempt to focus her energy. That was the birth of a new obsession and lifestyle. Since then my Keeshond posse has grown to 5 and I have added Rally Obedience, Conformation, and Freestyle to the list of canine activities in which I participate.
