Introduction	The name Nicole means "victorious heart" and perhaps that is what has driven me to achieve and discover that life is not about what happens to us, but rather how we conquer life itself. In 1994, at just eight years old, I was diagnosed with Osteogenic Sarcoma, a form of bone cancer. As any individual touched by cancer, my life was altered, and almost before it had begun. In 2004 I took a deep breath and stepped onto a ski slope for the first time. The beauty, adrenaline and excitement of three track skiing captivated me, but somehow something was missing. This realization led me to discover snowboarding and I made it my goal to defy the "impossible." Snowboarding has taken a priority in my life because it has allowed me to dream and achieve. It has given me a new passion for life and taken me down roads I never thought I would have the opportunity to travel.
Interests	Snowboarding, Wakeboarding, anything fun and outside, my zune, friends, family. . . . people in general, taking risks.
