Introduction	So, one day in August of 2010, I was volunteering at a market garden on Prince Edward Island, the smallest province in Canada, and I realized I didn't want to work indoors anymore. Maybe it was all those years of hiding my fair skin from the sun? I'm not sure. But, I knew I wanted to know more about growing food. This led me to a year-long internship program at The Pfeiffer Center in Chestnut Ridge, NY, about 30 miles NW of New York City. This blog is a record of that experience.
