Interests "Art is vital to the education of the 'whole' person. It should enable us to develop a sensitivity to our surroundings and to see and feel visual relationships. My goal is to provide an environment where each student has an opportunity to explore materials, techniques and questions, and to express themselves divergently in visual form. The end goal is for students to gain confidence in visual expression. My role is to be a facilitator and to approach each student as an individual, acknowledging where they are developmentally. I value the art process over the art product and believe that art is sequential and that skills can be taught."
