About me

GenderFemale
OccupationDomestic Goddess
LocationOklahoma, United States
IntroductionI'm a married, 29-year-old, stay-at-home mom to 4 kids ages 6, 5, 4, and 3. I <3 science and neuroscience in particular. In addition to our kids I'm a full time student (psych major) and hope to eventually go to medical school. I'd love to be a neurosurgeon and to do research in neuroscience and psychology/psychiatry.
InterestsGoing to the gym for my two hours of me time a day that include a shower uninterrupted by children, getting my hair and nails did (although it's been way too long since I've had a spa day) hanging out with my friends although it's been too long on that too, going on dates with my hubby, you know really I don't get to do hardly anything I enjoy... except watching tv, I like The Office, Scrubs, Chuck, Ghost Whisperer, 24, Alias (although it's not on anymore :( ), The Hills (it's my guilty pleasure), How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, and lots more.
Favorite moviesBride and Prejudice, White Christmas, Hello Dolly, The Unsinkable Molly Brown, Better Off Dead, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Failure to Launch(really anything with Matthew McConnaghey), Gone in 60 Seconds, The Day After Tomorrow, Bride Wars, The National Treasure Movies, and many many more.
Favorite musicMost everything, I also have a little white trash in me as I love 80's power ballads still, like Every Rose Has it's Thorn by Poison, and tons of other 80's music cause it reminds me of growing up in Caruthersville. I love all genres, everything from Harry Conick Jr to Streetlight Manifesto, to Reba McEntire, to the Aquabats, to the Beastie Boys. I love all types of music, I just always buy the radio edit or steer clear of it if it is real bad. Although I love Toby Keith's song he released after 9/11 where he says "Cause we'll put a boot in your ass it's the american way".
Favorite booksAnything by Vince Flynn, Sophie Kinsella, David Baldacci, Andrew Britton, Brad Thor, a lot of Chick lit, Harry Potter, Twilight was ok, historical fiction, Tom Clancy if you skip over the technical jargon, The Count of Monte Cristo (I love the very last page where he says "it is necessary to have wished for death in order to know how good it is to live"). East of Eden by Steinbeck and many more. I also love non-fiction.

What's the best time you've ever had licking stamps?

Sending out my wedding invitations... cause I was so happy getting married.
