| Introduction | Count me among the "late bloomers" catagory. I did not discover that I had the brains to go to college until I was 24 years old. Going to Northestern University was by far the best thing I ever did to improve the quality of my life. Partly due to the education, but mostly because I met the woman who became my wife during my senior year at NU on October 20th 1989. We now have two wonderful children. I train with our children in a Korean martial style, Tang Soo Do. They love it because they get a chance to try to kick my butt and not get in trouble for it. In July of 2005 my son, then 9, earned the rank of first degree black belt. I followed 6 months later. Not bad for a former class punching bag. |
