| Introduction | The historical Hughes Building. Being restored by Michael and Peggy Morris as well as working and living out of the building. Project start date March 1st 2010. This is an old empty brick warehouse with no plumbing, no electric, nothing...and a young married couple who is taking this project on to turn into their home and work place and a place to sustain themselves as much as possible. Watch the growth, change and progress along the way and share this journey with us. Promoting the island after Ike Survival. Restoring old buildings. the goal is 90% GREEN and eco friendly restoration and using reclaimed materials and more. All on a " poor new couples budget". We will also be building our garden to sustain ourselves as purly as possible on an inner city garden. Green power, water colelction and more will also be much a part of this project . A long journey but a fun and enjoyable one this will be.... |
