| Introduction | I started writing around the age of 4 when I dictated stories to my mother. She patiently wrote them down and I illustrated them. As an adult, I began writing romance and discovered Romance Writers of America and joined a local chapter. This group was welcoming and nurturing to a "newbie" and they found a critique group for me--of which I'm still a part. But growing up in California must have ingrained in me a love of stories on film. So I took courses...not easy to find in Colorado...from well known screenwriter Robert Gosnell who eventually suggested my name as a candidate to adapt a non-fiction book into an epic screenplay.
