| Introduction | I am a mum of 4 grown up children now with their own families. I have 4 beautiful grandchildren, 3 boys and one girl. They are so precious to me. I have been married for 38years, he is my best friend and soul mate. I am house bound and for most of it bed bound. I have chronic Fibromyalgia and it comes with a whole load of other health problems. This is how I got myself into crafting, to keep myself sane from boredom. I started out card making and my love for paper crafting grew from there. I am self taught reading crochet patterns, there wasn't a you tube around then. My how too came from a good old book in the library. I love you tube, a fantastic site for learning anything you want too. That's how I learnt to crochet Amigurumi, there are hundreds of free patterns out in the wonderful world of the internet for making soft toys for all ages. My grandchildren love them. some of the grown ups too, as soon as I make something, one of them are saying 'that one is mine' I don't even get asked anymore. lol I don't mind. I get a kick out of it. |
| Interests | My interests are of many, making journals, junk books ,acrylic painting, scrapbooking, altered dolls, crochet blankets, handbags, soft toys and making charms for key rings or my journals. |
| Favorite movies | The Preachers Wife, The Talented Mr Ripley ,Off Springs, Power, Sci fi films or series. The Green Mile, Soaps Eastenders. |
| Favorite music | I love anything from the 50's and the 60's. I always say it 'I was born too late'. |
