Introduction	The Diocese of Huron in Ontario includes the most southerly point in Canada. It is bordered on the south by Lake Erie, on the west by Lake Huron and in the north by Georgian Bay. To the east is the Diocese of Niagara. The major cities are London, Kitchener/Waterloo, Cambridge, Sarnia and Windsor. The oldest winery in North America was founded at Point Pelee; the first oil well in Canada was drilled in Oil Springs; the famous ski resorts of the Blue Mountains Region are found on Georgian Bay. The diocese was established in 1857 with its See City, London, Ontario and its Cathedral, St Paul's.
