Introduction Based in Kampala, Uganda, I am Ugandan journalist with close to 17 years of professional experience in news reporting with various local and international media houses. Currently, I am a Special Correspondent with The EastAfrican and Freelance Writer with the Daily Monitor newspapers both published by the Nation Media Group. I am also a Freelance Correspondent with the New African Magazine, Published by IC Publications, London, U.K, among others. As a commissioned journalist I am more into the feature stories emphasizing the achievements and challenges of third world development. My journalism interests are: education, health, ICTs, the environment, agriculture, arts and culture, business and African history.
Interests  Reading magazines, newspapers and other literature to keep informed about a wide range of subjects and global issues. I listen to radio, and watch television and movies. I am a sports enthusiast. I play badminton and swim in my leisure time.

Favorite Music African pop music (rumba, zouk, benga, jazz, Mbalax, Malian Blues, Afro-rock, jali and tourab, among others) and traditional forms of African music. From the rest of world it is rock, jazz, funk and the blues.
