| Introduction | Hi, my name is William Mellon, I am currently attending Skidmore College as a Freshman. I am required for my English class to start a blog, so I thought this might a perfect chance for me to share some of my experiences as a deaf student at college or in life in general. I have two cochlear implants, that allow me to hear, I got the first one when I was two, and the second one when I was sixteen. I can speak English fluently but I still struggle sometimes with hearing in noisy environments.
