| Introduction | I have always been interested in art. All through my school years I excelled in art and specifically pencil drawings. When I was a teenager I began to work with my Father in a small metalshop. I absolutely loved the smell and feel of metal as I learned to work it. I eventually joined my two passions. I have always loved belt buckles and have a large collection. When I found Etsy, I focused mostly on belt buckles because of the ease in fabrication and I enjoy the challenge of making something work on a smaller scale. I have also owned my own business fabricating ornamental iron. I now continue to work in the ornamental field although not for myself anymore. I am able to stay fresh with the ornamental industry, but still create smaller one-of-a-kind projects in my spare time. I am a family man and I love it. I am married to the most amazing girl who supports me and pushes me to constantly create. She also has an incredible creative streak which is a great dynamic in our home. We compliment each other well. We have two awesome children and cherish every minute with them. |
