Introduction	I am a Chartered Accountant and a Certified Information Systems Auditor. A large part of my adult life has been spent doing corporate audits in India and in the U.S. I have been frustrated seeing the total lack of governance in companies where you would least expect governance lapses to happen. It is my firm belief that no long term investment strategy is complete without understanding the people behind the company and how their actions affect society, the environment and their industry peers. invESGuard is my way of applying all of my knowledge and skills to collect governance information as well as information surrounding a company’s environmental and social responsibility, to determine the ‘best of the best’ by scoring these companies in a simple mathematical model. (No ‘Quant’ theories used here!)
